Latest Update

 UPDATED NOTICE AS OF 7/06/2020:

Starting Monday, July 6, 2020

All branches will be open from 9:30am - 4:30pm
Monday - Saturday

Curbside service will continue 9:30am - 4:30pm
Monday - Saturday

We ask that all patrons wear masks, use hand sanitizer, and limit visits to 15 minutes to protect the health and safety of our most vulnerable patrons.

You can request books by signing onto your account at catalog.marshallcolibrary.org or calling 270-527-9969. Please give staff at least 30 minutes to gather your material before coming to pick up your items. Once you’re in the parking lot, remain in your vehicle and call to let us know you’re here. A staff person will bring your material out and leave it on a cart. Please do not leave your car until the staff person is back inside the library. We cannot bring your material out if anyone is outside of their vehicle.

To allow at-risk patrons to stay safe at home, all materials currently checked out are due August 1. We ask that you only use the drop boxes at this time if you are taking advantage of our curbside service. All material returned will go through a quarantine and disinfecting process, and getting too many items returned at once will overwhelm our system. So, hang onto those a little longer if you can!

The staff of the Marshall County Public Library is going to be doing everything in our power to ensure the materials you receive are clean and safe for you and your family to use. However, the safest library is the one you can access on any device from the comfort of your home. If you’re not already using our digital services, log on to marshallcolibrary.org and find out about all the great books, movies, and music you can access anytime, day or night, from the Marshall County Public Library.
