On January 23, 2018, the unthinkable happened when a student opened fire in the busy Commons of the Marshall County High School. In less than a minute, our community was changed forever.
In the days, weeks, and months that followed, we came together with love, faith, and support. We became #MarshallStrong.
But where do we go from here?
On Wednesday, September 12, we’re going to find the answer to that question, and we want you to have a seat at the table.
The Community Table is currently recruiting Hosts from across the community to help lead us all in the same conversation. Whether it’s over coffee with friends, lunch with coworkers, supper with your family, or a snack at any of our public tables, we’re going to come together to look at where we’ve been and determine where we’re going.
If you are willing to host a private, public, or school table, please fill out this form. Someone will be in contact with you by mid-August about attending a Host training in September. (For those unable to attend an in-person training, online training will be made available. However, we encourage all Hosts to attend an in-person training if possible.)
If you would like to participate in the Community Table but do not have a Host, please check back here in August to sign up to attend a public table.
